Farewell 2014

Well, 2014 is coming to an end. It's honestly hard to believe how quickly this year went by. I remember January 2014 so clearly like it was last month. But I have to be honest, no big things really happened in 2014 for me. Little things did happen, like I got to attend some very cool concerts by One Republic and The Fray, I took a speech class which is a very big deal for me because public speaking has always put me on the edge a bit, but I'm glad I took that class because I learned a lot. I also took the first steps in clearing my skin up and taking better care of it. And I did a lot of other things here and there. I do have high hopes for 2015 though, and I better make them happen or else I will be very grumpy by the end of 2015 haha anyway, I wish you all a wonderful year to come. I wish for all of you to go out there and follow your dreams, become the person you wish to be while still staying true to yourselves. Happy New Year!

Asymmetrical Dress

I haven't posted enough holiday looks this season, well I actually haven't posted much at all this season and I do apologize about that. But it's not too late because we still got new years ahead! I thought this dress would be a perfect new year's look. It's for those who aren't really into sequin but still want to look fabulous. I love dressing up in a black and white look topped with the perfect red lip. There is nothing classier than that. And what's even cooler is that this dress has an asymmetrical hem to it which adds so much edge to the whole look. I just feel like a diva in this dress. It's fabulous. Wonderland

It is not cold, hence why I'm wearing a little floral dress. But hey, I'm not going to complain. I just want it to rain, because I think rain is so beautiful and romantic to me. Plus we are in a drought haha. I wore this dress to lunch with my fellow San Diego blogger friends Bianca from The In Between Girls, and Tanya from La Bella Tanchi. I never thought such a simple grey dress could be made into a chic outfit. I have never been the kind of girl to like plain clothing pieces. I'm always attracted to more flashy pieces. But I have officially changed my mind. I'm obviously still going to wear my flashy clothing, but it's always fun to mix them with more simple items. It creates more of a balance in the overall outfit. I have many ideas with this dress, and I can't wait to show you all! I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day!

Floral Romper

This is my first romper I have ever worn, Like ever. Rompers have never appealed to me much in the past, but I'm starting to really like them. Most of them are much more suitable for summer. But I decided to add tights to this look to make it look more fall-ish. Transitioning pieces from summer to fall is always fun in my opinion, you just have to get creative. It's been a long time since I last posted, I know I don't post that often anyway, but I have just been pretty busy lately. I hope you understand. Anyway I wanted to share with you all this grey maxi dress that I have been loving. It finally feels like fall here in SD and I think a neutral maxi dress is the perfect way to start off the fall! You can layer this dress in so many ways including a moto jacket, a faux fur vest, and of course different kinds of accessories. Plus it's super comfy so you just can't go wrong. I realized that I just don't wear enough pants. All I really like to wear nowadays are dresses and skirts. So I decided to edge it up a bit with some leather pants (which are my favorite type of pants btw) and add a touch of femininity with the lace top. It's not nearly cold enough to wear layers yet so I'm trying to incorporate fall pieces by not using too many layers. I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day/night!

I just can't get enough of this beautiful dress. It's so different from what I own and I love that. It's perfect for going into fall as well because most of my dresses are sundresses. I know I put up a bit more photos than I usually do but I just loved the entire vibe of this photo shoot. I loved the location, the lighting, the dress, it's all just perfect! Who said you can't wear white after labor day? I say say wear whatever the hell you want to wear. These Calvin Klein jeans are fairly new and I have already styled so many outfits around them. A white pair of jeans is a must in my closet. I just love how they look. Plus it has been pretty warm here still so I probably won't be wearing fall attire until October or November. I am super excited about this weekend because guess what? I am turning 20 years old! It's funny because when I was a kid I always thought people in their twenties had their whole life figured out, but I guess that's just the journey of life. I have worn this dress countless times since Iv'e bought it and now I have finally gotten the chance to do a photo shoot in it! I love everything about this dress. The fit, the style, the pattern. This is my new go-to dress. It's comfortable, cute, and appropriate for many places. I have this other striped dress that I wear non-stop and my family is so sick of seeing me in it all the time, so I needed to find a new dress that I could just throw on without having to think about it.
