Fashion Week SD "The Art and Beauty behind Fashion"

This week is a special week, it is Fashion Week San Diego, and i got the amazing opportunity to be able to attend last night's event called "The Art and Beauty behind Fashion" at the W hotel. It featured 10 artists from RAW:natural born artists who were told to create art pieces that were inspired by the fashion in San Diego. I was surrounded by beautiful art and creativity. It felt so inspiring too meet such passionate people who love what they do. 

Hair and makeup artists from Bellus Academy came out to showcase their creativity on models. They were all so talented and did a fantastic job. Each artist had their own makeup table and their own style. I loved watching them as they put on the makeup and created hairstyles on the models, but they weren't just "putting" on the makeup, they were matching eye shadows, sweeping brushes, and blending colors. Hairstylists were curling, straightening, braiding, and wrapping hair, it was just so nice to watch them release their creativity.

Overall it was an AMAZING experience, i had such a good time last night and met so many cool people who have as much passion as i do. There were musicians, designers, artists, comedians, photographers, models, bloggers etc.! i am so looking forward to Saturday's event which is "Fashion Week San Diego Runway Shows" then Sunday which is "The Trunk Show" i'll definitely be sure to update you all!
