Happy Halloween! i dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood this year and with me is my little brother dressed up as a werewolf! i thought we looked cool together, except i'm the big one and he's the little one so it was Big Red Riding Hood and the Little Bad Wolf! haha i hope you had a a fun and safe Halloween!

Stacy London Interview

Last weekend me and other bloggers had the wonderful opportunity to interview TLC's "What Not to Wear" Stacy London! She was hosting the Fall 2012 Westfield Style Tour and is the Westfield Style Creative Director. I have been watching "What Not to Wear" since I was a little girl so you could imagine my excitement when I met her! She is such a sweet, outspoken person! I asked her two questions, My first question was "How do you think style bloggers influence the fashion industry?" She told me that "some style bloggers are coming out with very good content nowadays so that challenges fashion magazines to do a better job".

My second questions was "What is one weakness of yours in the art of fashion?" She told me that "I'm a complete perfectionist, I'm never satisfied with anything I do. I'm always looking for something better. And it bothers some people sometimes". But I actually think that it's a good trait though, being an overachiever can get you far in life, I mean look where it got her! 

I had such a good time meeting Stacy London. I've never met a famous person before so I was a little bit starstruck but now I could cross that off my bucket list! 

I also met other fantastic style bloggers! in the middle is Jess from Jess Glam Diary and on the right is Lea from High Heeled Style they were so nice and it was wonderful to meet them!

It was an overall amazing experience and I will never forget it! I had such a busy weekend! first of all i went to "The Script" concert and had SO much fun! it was possibly the best concert iv'e ever been to! i felt so lucky to be able to go to my favorite musicians concert and Danny(the singer) was right in front of me! it was seriously amazing!

Then i got the wonderful opportunity to meet Stacy London! she was so sweet, a couple of other bloggers interviewed her as well and she had great answers! i'll be posting about the event soon :)

Last but not least i received these gorgeous earrings that i'm wearing from Anjolee. Westfield Style Tour Fall 2012

Hello my lovely readers! I just wanted to let you all know about a fun event happening in the San Diego area! The Westfield Style Tour hosted by Stacy London TLC's "What Not to Wear" will be at Westfield Plaza Bonita, Macy's Court, 3030 Plaza Bonita Rd., National City, CA 91902 this Saturday to discuss style and talk about fashion!

Stylists and Stacy will be on hand to talk to consumers, share shopping tips, and dish about the new Westfield Style Fall 2012 Magazine! it's going to be from 11AM-7PM and i will be there interviewing Stacy! so if your in the San Diego area i would love for you to come shop, talk about style and meet Stacy London! This top just makes me so happy because it's so sparkly! i'm pretty sure i'm not the only girl who gets excited about sparkle :) I paired it with a pleated skirt i purchased from ebay about a year ago, i thought they went perfectly together! and topped it all off with a nice bright coral cardigan! Today's outfit was pretty simple, I took my little brother to the pumpkin patch which was very nice. It still doesn't feel like fall here in San Diego, only a couple of day's ago it was pouring rain but knowing SD's bipolar weather, it got pretty hot again haha. This is what i wore to the "Art and Beauty Behind Fashion" event, i thought i would do a whole outfit post on it! i really like this skirt because it's so comfortable and chic, you can't go wrong with houndstooth! haha anyway i hope you enjoyed and have a fantastic weekend! i know i will :)

Fashion Week SD "The Art and Beauty behind Fashion"

This week is a special week, it is Fashion Week San Diego, and i got the amazing opportunity to be able to attend last night's event called "The Art and Beauty behind Fashion" at the W hotel. It featured 10 artists from RAW:natural born artists who were told to create art pieces that were inspired by the fashion in San Diego. I was surrounded by beautiful art and creativity. It felt so inspiring too meet such passionate people who love what they do. 

Hair and makeup artists from Bellus Academy came out to showcase their creativity on models. They were all so talented and did a fantastic job. Each artist had their own makeup table and their own style. I loved watching them as they put on the makeup and created hairstyles on the models, but they weren't just "putting" on the makeup, they were matching eye shadows, sweeping brushes, and blending colors. Hairstylists were curling, straightening, braiding, and wrapping hair, it was just so nice to watch them release their creativity.

Yummy Deserts! 

Overall it was an AMAZING experience, i had such a good time last night and met so many cool people who have as much passion as i do. There were musicians, designers, artists, comedians, photographers, models, bloggers etc.! i am so looking forward to Saturday's event which is "Fashion Week San Diego Runway Shows" then Sunday which is "The Trunk Show" i'll definitely be sure to update you all! I hope you enjoyed!

It has been so incredibly hot lately, i really need the fall weather already. I want to wear scarves, leather jackets, boots, and listen to the sound of the rain. But i guess i'm just going to have to wait because unfortunately i can't control the weather lol.

Today i took my first Zumba class at my local gym, it was very fast paced and fun. I used to do dance back in high school so it wasn't too hard to keep up. Tomorrow i'm going to my first yoga class! i'm excited haha i have never done yoga before so i don't know what to expect!

This week is Fashion Week in San Diego, tomorrow night i'm going to my first event! It's called the art and beauty behind fashion, if any of you live in the San Diego area i'd love to meet you there! I'm definitely excited so i'll be sure to take pics and update you all! hope you enjoyed!
